Keep shifts and on-call duty transparent

In a clinic, on-call duty, daytime appointments and night shifts overlap. How long someone was on duty is usually written down by hand. OneWork counts each shift separately and produces a finished timesheet at month end.

What gets in the way in healthcare

  • On-call accounting is complex

Night and weekend duty are counted differently, and doing it by hand leads to errors.

  • Staff work across departments

One doctor covers several departments, and it is never clear where their hours belong.

  • Appointments start late

Cases where the patient arrived before the doctor are never recorded anywhere.

How OneWork handles it

  • Duty schedules

Day, night and weekend duty are set separately and counted separately.

  • By department

Each department is run as its own branch, and it is recorded which one the person worked in.

  • Touch-free Face ID

The terminal recognises by face with nothing to touch, which suits a clinical environment.

  • Reports ready to use

Daily, monthly and yearly reports come out as charts and tables.

A day in the clinic

  1. 08:00

The day shift starts and appointment time is recorded.

  2. 20:00

Night duty begins and those hours are counted separately.

  3. 08:00

Duty closes and the hours land in the timesheet.

How the rollout goes

  1. 01

    We map the need

We go through how healthcare actually runs: shifts, branches, who works where.

  2. 02

    Device or app

We install the Face ID terminal, or set up the mobile app and its geofences.

  3. 03

    We set the rules

Shift times, lateness, penalties and bonuses are matched to how you already work.

  4. 04

    We go live

Staff are added, faces enrolled, and your team is shown how to use it.

Setup normally takes a day. The system runs in full for all 14 days of the free trial, and no card is required.

Healthcare questions

Is night duty counted separately?
Yes. You set the night duty window in the schedule and hours are split by it.
Does anyone have to touch the terminal?
No. The Hikvision Face ID terminal recognises by face, no contact needed.
Can we view departments separately?
Yes. Each department is run separately and appears separately in the report.
How is a doctor's call-out recorded?
The exit is marked on the terminal or in the app. Whether call-out time counts as working hours is your decision.
Where is staff personal data stored?
In your account, visible only to the roles you have granted access to.
